This auction is for a 1856 edition of Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha." The book is in very good condition, although it does have wear to the covers and the previous owner's nameplate inside front cover. Please see pics. This is the first American edition, but I am not sure which issue/printing. Does not have ads in the back. On page 96 it reads "dived" instead of "dove." So this was before the correction. Rare and overall a VERY good copy. The starting price is a steal. Posted with eBay Mobile
