Rare 1900 Arts & Crafts Nouveau Wooden Carved Barometer / Thermometer This rare heavily carved Arts & Crafts English / American Oak Barometer is in perfect working order. The barometer has been hanging on our wall and has never missed a beat. The case is the most beautiful figured English / American Oak and the barometer has a lovely fine clean movement and glass in perfect condition. The thermometer is on a lovely painted glass back plate and has an unusual twist mercury holder. This too is in perfect working order with NO separation in the mercury. The carving is truely beautiful and so stylised with No chips, cracks or damage at all. Measure approximately 55.0cm high x 22.0cm wide Combined weight 1110 grams (1.11kg).
