In the Year 2000 Underwater Vessels in 2000 Senez-Sturbelle Chocolate, Belgium With colorful and futuristic images identical to the scarce and popular series issued in the U.S. titled "One Hundred Years Hence", cards in this series were given with chocolates by a firm based in Belgium. Text on front and back is in French. The series received a comprehensive write up by Richard Sheaff in the Winter 1999 issue of Advertising Trade Card Quarterly, which notes an approximate market value of $175-275 per card for the American versions and $60-75 per card for the European cards. The card measures 4-5/16" by 2-3/4" and is in fresh, excellent to near mint condition with light wear at the bottom right corner.
