This is a hard to find 1901 flatbase Kellogg. It is in exceptional original condition. The nickel has a nice ozidation. The bakelite shaft is brown with no cracks. It has an original brown mouthpiece and brown receiver. The transmitter says "Kellogg Chicago USA."Pat'd Nov 26, 1901" and patent number 256438-L. The original wire and grommet are still on the crop. The receiver has a screw off top. The original bottom is on and all the guts are inside the telephone base. Even the remaining inside part of the green felt bottom cover. This is an exceptional phone that I have had in my collection for over 20 years. I am downsizing so look for future phones.
