AUCTION DESCRIPTION Now, this pair is one that a true collector will not want to miss out on! These are the very, very rare 1914 Artist Signed Bronze Clad Galvano Bronze Guinevere Bookends. Similar bookends can be found in Kuritzky and DeCostaÂ's Bookend Reference Guide. T, they are entitled Â"SilenceÂ" and are dated to 1926. The bookends offered are clearly depictions of Queen Guinevere and actually predate the ones listed in the reference guide by over a decade. This is an exquisite pair that is quite alluring and definitely a pair that deserves to be displayed more like the statues that they truly are. I say that not only because they are totally intact, gorgeous, and historical, but also because these are some of the largest bookends that IÂ've ever owned.
