Huge vintage brooch from the 40's made of Goldtone metal enameled the Red, White & Blue colors of the great U.S.A. This is the leader of the marching band accented with Red, White & Blue rhinestones and dangling metal tassles hanging from his boots and tall white hat. Pin measures 3 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" and is in very good condition for an older enamel piece. T is a bit of wear to his elbow, knee and toes but all stones are present & clear. T is a makers mark on the back, with what looks like the initials "NE" inside of a triangle, I've spent a lot of time researching this mark and have not been able to determine who it belongs to. A unique piece to add to your collection of Americana! |
