VINTAGE STERLING WESTERN AND SOUTHERN RAILROAD LAPEL SERVICE PIN No Reserve Low Starting Price Up for your bidding pleasure is an authentic railroad pin. It is a sterling silver lapel pin for The Western and Southern Railroad. This pin is from 1945. I am sure an employee was proud to wear this pin after 50 years of service. Gordon B. Miller's & Company in Cincinnati, Ohio made the pin. The pin is green and silver. It is solid metal. The piece shows wear. It has minor scratches. It shows minor tarnish on front. The backside has major tarnish. It is a very clean piece. The hook and pin pieces on back function fine. The pin is a little bent. It is not mint but I think it is in excellent condition for its age. This piece would be beautiful polished. It is marked on back: Gordon B. Miller's & Co. Cin'ti, O Sterling It measures about 1/2" by 5/8". Great pin for fun or display!
