A LARGE/MEDIUM size, extremely well made, 3.15" FLUTED CLOVIS Point exhibiting great stone coloration & aging patina, mineral deposits, correct concave base, basal form flaking & grinding, correct Paleo batan flaking, correct use reduction sharpening & shaping, correct material and manufacture for the area found. The Lanceolate shape, ground base, overall shape and location of find determine the type. This is a very well made example in EXCELLENT condition and is HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE This is an authentic blade of the Paleo period dating in the 11,500-10.600 B.P. range. ****** AS ALWAYS STARTING BID IS $9.99 ****** Clovis is the earliest point type in the hemisp T is no pre-Clovis evidence (no crude forms) in the United States which pre-date Clovis.
