Up for your bidding pleasure is this fantastic decorated stoneware crock embossed Bangor Stoneware Co Bangor Maine, with a huge decoration of a beautifully decorated spotted bird, sitting on what appears to be a finger, or a fish skeleton. I was told when I purchased it, it was a fish, but the fish sure does look like finger knuckles to me! I'll let the new owner decide when they own it! I could go on and on about the decoration, as it is one of the best birds I have ever owned. That is why it was one of the last ones I held on to. Bangor stoneware pieces that are decorated are hard enough to come by. It has on small chip as shown on the inside rim, not visible when displayed. I have photographed it for comnplete accuracy. It stands just a hair over 11 inches, and this little beauty is being offered with no reserve.
