This is a RARE Pelikan 100N in GRAY & BLACK MARBLE , ca. 1940's. The pen is in NEAR MINT CONDITION! T are NO cracks, dents, personalizations, plating wear or any other defects! The pen fills and writes wonderfully - just like a new pen! The 14-Karat nib is a medium-flex Pelikan nib and is very smooth. On the nib it says PELIKAN 585 14 KARAT. The iridium is intact. On the cap top (above the clip) it says PELIKAN GUNTHER WAGNER. The "knurling" on the filler knob is VERY CRISP. On the top of the cap is the imprint of the Pelikan bird in green (see photo). This is the Pelican logo. The pen has a green colored "vue" window through which the ink can be seen (see photos). The pen measures 4 & 3/4 inches with the cap screwed on the barrel and 6 & 1/8 inches posted. GRAY & BLACK MARBLE is a VERY UNCOMMON color. Even Mont Blanc had no color to compare. It is one of the rarest colors in the vintage Pelikan line. Note that on the barrel it says "Emege" (see photos). "M" and "G" were the first initials of the names of the two men who formed the Portuguese partnership which imported the pens from Germany. This firm was the first authorized Pelican importer in Portugal. The name "Emege" was engraved on the pens so that only Pelicans purchased in Portugal from the authorized importer/ distributor were eligible for the guaranteed free repair (see read more
