RARE Late '69 Raleigh Chopper MK 1 - Original 3 + 2 Rear Wheel COMPLETE! Please wait for the 4 pictures to load. They are worth it!Check my other auctions for the rest of the parts to complete this RARE bike!This is the original 3+2 Sturmey Archer Raleigh Chopper Rear Wheel. Unbelievable Chrome with very, very light pits and t, almost no brake burn. Spokes are beauties, wheel runs true and straight. Inside of rim and under original rim strip is very clean! They just don't get much better than this for an original 40 year old wheel. Sturmey Archer hub is dated 69 - 11. Has the original shifter knuckle and an NOS chain on the opposite side. This is correct for the very short run 3 + 2 MK 1 tall frame bikes. No buy it now - bid to own this super nice wheel!This is an original 3 + 2 bike. All parts I am listing are from this bike. The only parts missing to complete the project is the sissy bar and handlebars. For some reason the bars on the bike when I got it were incorrect and the sissy bar was bent forward and was very scratched. I wet sanded and primed and then wet sanded again. The frame is near ready for self etch primer and paint. You can see the original green paint.
