RARE!! ANTIQUE AUTHENTIC! ANTIQUE CZECH BEADS BEADED TRIMHand-beaded Antique Lamp Fringe 9 feet longor approximately 2.74 metersorapproximately 274 cm. The actual beaded designis strung by hand creating fringe thatis approximately 5.25 inches or 13.5 cm long. NEVER USED!FOUND ON ORIGINAL CARDBOARDFROM A GENERAL STORE'S STOCK! The colors are earthy in tone.Elegant and somewhat subdued.Not at all gaudy.Antique gold, black are thedominent colors.Floral themed designon black backgroundwith antique glassseed beads thatare made from real gold. The floral design containsthe colors of light and dark shades of burgundy.The greens shimmerlike rich dark emeralds.The blues resembleare not too bright,like chunks of rich turqoise. Originally, this 9 foot long single length of fringe was found wrapped aroun a piece of antique cardboard. It was obviously never used.The antique pin held the the entire length in placejust as it would have beendisplayed in a general storeor elegant shop.This was never used.(The cardboard was not significant. T was no writing or advertising on itso it was discarded due to thefact that the acid in the cardboard would have deteriorated the linentape that holds the beads ) This was purchased for a particular lamp thatbelonged to my father.However, it was never usedbecause it was learnedthat the fringe was earlierin date than his lampshade. Rather a bohemian look... the fringe is not at all gaudy. These beads are obviously antique.The piece is in one continuouslength measuring 9 feet or approximately 274 cm.It is rare and beautiful. The linen appears strong. Some of the lengths of linen threadcontaining the beads are startingto weaken. This should be properly restoredbefore using it, in my opinion.T are a few bead strings that havebroken and t Those beadswill be provided in a separate envelope.Restoring this should not at all be difficult.The pattern is obvious. It will simply take time.The beads feel dusty and should be cleaned.This is quite old and quite rare.Once restored...again, easily done with patience...it will be an incredible treasure.
