This is a Rare and Unusual Double Brass Traveling Inkwell. It has two wells for ink and it is evident that at one time, one of the inkwells had red ink and one had black. T is a third well t for something, but I'm not sure what. My uneducated guess would be for possibly water to rinse the nib when changing colors. The glass inkwells are long gone from this. The next owner can search for them. The outside of this is covered with leather and t is a piece of that missing from the top.
