RARE Anri Wood carving Italy St Francis Shrine icon NR Hello bidders. Up for bid today is a fantastic Anri carving of a St Francis shrine. Behind two small carved doors of this reliquary lives St Francis. He is a highly detailed carving for only being 3" tall. He is removable and he is in excellent condition. The shrine measures 4" tall. T is a very tiny remnant of an Anri label on the bottom of the shrine. I would date this carving from somew in the 1950s or so. T is a small discoloration at the very top of the left hand door but does not detract from this great little piece. This would make an excellent addition to anyone's collection and would be a nice present. If you have any questions about this great carving please feel free to email me.
