WHITE IRONSTONE SQUARE PEDESTAL CAKE STAND Album Album Album This auction is for a really rare to find antique white ironstone pedestal square shaped cake stand. I have owned this one for about 10 years now. I am selling some of my own cake stands collection on ebay. This is the only square, rectangular shaped one that I have ever come across. It is all white, nice pedestal base, it is a very heavy weight ironstone. It is impressed on the bottom "K 2". The cake stand is 12 1/4" x 10 1/4", it stands 2 1/4" tall. I am not sure if it is English or American made, I could not find any information in any of my ironstone reference books. It is a nice crisp white color with a slight blueish gray glaze. It is in very good used condition, on the pedestal base their is a 1/4" chip, their is a 1/4" chip on the top lip and a flea nick on the underneath top lip. This white ironstone pedestal cake stand would make a great base for stacking your round ironstone cake stands. Very RARE SQUARE SHAPE cake stand to add to your collection.
