Up for auction without a reserve is a rare and hard to find antique Gorham sterling silver serving spoon in the cottage pattern c.1861. This pattern was discontinued in 1861. The pieces in this pattern are larger than pieces we use today and tfore weigh a little more. This serving spoon is 7 5/8" in length and is in good condition with some surface scratching and the tip of the bowl is slightly bent from use. T is not a monogram. It weighs approximately 1.5 oz. The back is marked with Sterling and the hallmark: lion, anchor & G. See seller's other items for more of the same pattern. I will combine items to save you on shipping.
