Rare Antique Mattheus Merian World Map Mid 1600 NOVA TOTIUS TERRARUM ORBIS GEOGRAPHICA AC HYDROGRAPHICA TABULA WAHRE BILDTNÜSS DES GANTZEN ERDEN KRAYSES MIT ALLEN SEINEN THEILEN . This map is from the Mid 1600's and it is an original. The map has some obvious age toning, it has a 1/2" strip of paper affixed to the back side probably from being bound in a book at one time.. It has two peices of tape affixed to the top that was used for matting. I have removed from the framed mat. I cannot see any tares, worm holes or repairs. The map has a nice watermark. Paper is pretty thin which is innt with this map. The browning is exaggerated by the camera flash. Please ask questions. I will respond quickly. I can also e-mail larger images if needed.
