Yoiu are bidding on a very rare Piano/ Organ Wooden Bench. The fabric appears to be original and beneath the worn fabric it feels like some type of straw. I would rather not open the muslin or cover to see but definitely it is a straw or hair of some sort. The side knobs make the seat go up and down. Turn both wooden knobs and the bench moves up or down. This is the first one I have ever seen like itl The metal is stamped 1877. This is a fantastic piece of Victorian Furniture. It is stamped on all the metal. It is very sturdy and beautiful original finish on the wood. It is missing some small round ornamental wood and has some of the dark finish is rubbed in some areas. The pieces would be fantastic infront of your piano or organ. The bench measures 19 inches tall in the sown position 25 inches wide 13 1/2 inches deep. T are some tears on the fabric and t are some pieces of paint that can be removed easily. Thank you for looking and happy bidding.
