Fabulous antique Royal Doulton jug, circa 1904. Raised portrait of a Sea Captain on one side and ship on the other. Brown background glaze with rich greenn, blues, golds and tan colorings. Signed NOKE to the right of the sea captian, see close up photo. Silver metal lid with cork attached to a chain that is attached to the jugs handle. Lid is hallmarked on one side, see close up photos, G i? (I believe) and Sons, lion silouette, lion face and lower case i markings. Marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton England hallmark, with a lion above a crown. Piece measures 6 3/4" tall to top of spout x 6" at its widest. Wonderful condition with no cracks or chips.
