T his auction is for a Rare and one of a kind Cabinet Desk.!!! Very very rare piece. It dates to the 1920-30's and retains its Original finish... Absolutely Awesome in person and fully functional!!! Lighted and all. Just look at those pictures.. Lots of side storage and that unbelievable desk area with mail slots and 3 drawers!..Also, that wonderful pullout writing surface adorned by that cathedral opening and 2 columns.... You can display your Antiques on top, store stuff on the sides, and use the desk for your hobbies, mail or just to write a letter.... Close the doors and no one knows anything!!!
The cabinet has paintintgs on the side doors inside and out, and that Beautiful Painting on the Front door!!! The painting is perfect and is raised off the door. It must have been carved first than painted. It looks 3d. Its in not a flat painting. The paint is thick! Thats how I can describe it. The legs are Barley Twist in style, surrounded by an Awesome carved skirt!!! The cabinet is solid and sturdy and is 2 pieces... The top desk part sits on the base.T is a repair to 1 leg, and some finish wear and tear on the top and on the front skirt and bottom of doors. Doesnt hurt the piece at all. You wont be disappointed with this Wonderful Piece.....!!! It has Wonderful Warm Walnut wood tones and has some applied carving on the front door. Now, lets get to the shipping $$$... {Pick up is preferred}. But....... if you have to have it, I will shlep it to my shipper. Buyer pays shipping. I have to feel it will cost at least 500.00 to ship it in the USA.So plan on that $ number. Or Pick it up! I'm easy to get to in central New Jersey. Item can be picked up after payment clears... Payment must be made 3 days after auctions close... Please look at my other auctions, and Thanks for Looking!!!!!!! The piece measures 51" tall X 41" wide X 21" deep.
