(More pictures and full specification below) This large and beautiful polychrome cabinet plate or charger was made by the firm of S Hancock & Sons (Potters) Ltd, of Stoke-on-Trent , between 1935 and 1937. The soft pastel floral design is an example of the company's rarely seen 'Lagoon Ware', under the Corona Ware label, which I think may have been designed by Molly Hancock, the daughter of Jabez Hancock.
