This is an original Art Nouveau Single Flower Sea Shell Lamp. Rarely would you ever see such a beautiful, delicate original shell lamp as this! It may be the only one of its' kind! It is a superb example of vintage folk art. It consists of a beautiful big flower, made up of numerous sea shells, opening up and blooming with its' stem going down and ending in a circle. The flower's falling petals are situated in such a free flow design along its' stem, that it looks like some petals are actually falling down presently along the stem. It truly is a beautiful, realistic, artfully and cleverly designed shell lamp. The lamp measures approximately 10" high and 5" wide. The flower is approximately 5-1/2" wide . T is a light socket for a small bulb inside the center of this lamp. The wiring needs to be replaced. The lamp is in excellent condition, with no apparent cracks, chips or repairs. This is an outstanding and beautiful example of an original Art Nouveau shell art to its' perfection. It would make a very welcomed addition to a collection or for display/use!
