Up for bid is a rare piece of Irish Belleek. This design by Robert Armstrong was the first of two major commissions by the British Royal Family to Belleek in 1868. This piece is Echinus Footed Bowl dessert service designed to accompany Price of Wales tea service. This piece has the sixth green stamp on the bottom inside which dates this comport to the 1970's. This Echinus Footed Bowl is in the simple pearl finish. It stands 7 3/4" tall. This is a very Dazzling piece, however, the very top shell of the lid has a minor chip. This still does not take anything away from this remarkable piece. Thank you and happy bidding. High bidder pays S&H. Payment must be made within 5 days of closing of auction.
