You are bidding on an Original Vintage Blenko Lamp with the Matching Glass Finial and what we believe to be the Original Shade. We looked it up in and believe it to be # LP-26. The book indicated that it was blown by Winslow Anderson so this would date it to the early 50's. It has all the incredible bubbles of the hand blown glass masters of this era. The bottom felt is marked Blenko - t is damage to the felt but we have left it "as found" to insure the integrity of the piece. The plug needs replacing but again, we have left it as found however, we can replace the plug for you at no additional cost. It has no chips or cracks and is a well made heavy piece - it could use a light cleaning on the inside and with the wide mouth, this would be no problem. We have added a very reasonable reserve on this rarely found treasure - just check other sites like 1stdibs w they sell for up to $2000 or more each.The total height of the lamp is 31 1/2" tall - the shade measures 14" in diameter and is 13" tall. The glass is 13 1/2" tall x 8" diameter across the bottom.It is a perfect match for any Mid Century or Danish Modern home. We will pack it very securely and require insurance.
