c.1850 Edward Todd & Co. New York Sterling Silver BUTTER PICK From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Wonderful Sterling Silver BUTTER PICK by Edward Todd & Co. While accounts differ, Todd was a New York City silversmith apparently working around 1850. Weighing a delicate .2 ounces, this 4 7/8" long pick is in excellent condition with no defects and no monogram. All of my silver has been lightly polished for its photo shoot but can always benefit from additional polishing (especially in areas not seen by the camera lens) to restore items to their original beauty.
