Carlton Ware Walking Ware Rare Lilac or Purple Shoes Milk Jug Designed by Roger Michell (Lustre Pottery) for Carltonware This auction is for a Carlton Ware Walking Ware Creamer or Milk Jug, wearing the RARE lilac (purple) shoe color, and white socks with green chevron designs on them. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. T is the usual very mild Walking Ware crazing, which you can see on several of the close-up photos below. It is fully marked to the base with the Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery Backstamp "Carlton Ware - England - Lustre Pottery 1973" (or maybe it is 1978 with part of the 8 rubbed off?) marking.
