we have a fabulous shelf/wall table unit with a drawer. The correct description is a "Dresserette. They were used in many situations as they can be today. Top measures 28" By 14". They were either designed by Kem Weber or Donald Deskey that were commissioned to design for The Royalchrome Company(Part of Royal Metals company of Michigan City Indiana. Circa 1937 as shown in 1937 Catalog.They are made of chrome plated steel and wood. This one has Beautiful Green Swirled Bakelite Handles on the drawer. The top is Black & called Royaloid for their brand name of Formica. It is Very Nice shape save for the wear on the drawer outside chrome has some slight scratching and the drawer has had something spilled in it. I'm Leaving it as is. It looks fabulous. Comes equipped with integrated wall mounts (see Picture of backside); and the brackets are also included. So you can mount it very easily and use immediately. Th is "Dresserette" would go well with designs by Gilbert Rohde, Paul Frankl, Wolfgang Hoffman, and other industrial designers from the 1930s.
