Up for bids is the Duncan Royale History of Santa figurine, "Soda Pop Santa". In this very collectible figure, Santa is reviewing his Book of Behaviours for children who are naughty or nice, and holding a bottle of Coca Cola in his right hand. His spectacles rest atop his head as he takes a soda pop break, and his hat is tucked into his belt. Inside the book that hangs over his arm reads, "Soda Pop Santa - The final stage in the Santa evolution came before World War II. This jolly, robust character was seen with his soda on billboards across the nation." Manufactured in 1983 in Fullerton , California by artists P. Apsit and R. Rodrigues, this is numbered and signed, number 1352/10,000 Santa from the History of Santa collection depicting one of many legendary Santas... each masterpiece s numbered and signed, according to the booklet that accompanies it. (Although I didn't see a signature per se!) T is, however, a bronze plaque on the bottom indicating the manufacturer, the artists, and the number. About 10-11 inches tall and 6 inches across the widest point . No box , but in excellent condition, with a few tiny chips on the paint at the back of the snowy base (see pics) but has no cracks.
