This is an ULTRA RARE MINT CONDITION/UNUSED Coffee Mug produced in a limited quanity by Dunkin Donuts in 1997 to commermorate the "Retirement" of FRED THE BAKER ("Time To Make The Donuts" ) who acted as the face and spokesman for the chain from 1982 - 1997. "Fred" (portrayed by famed character actor Michael Vale, who sadly passed away in 2005 ) was feted to a lavish retirement party at THE WORLD TRADE CENTER in BOSTON on October 29,1997 . This cup was given to all attendees who included all of the Corporate Dunkin Donuts executives, many of their New England area franchisees, advertising personnel and members of the media.
