You are bidding on a SUPER RARE piece of wood from the Audubon Drive home of ELVIS PRESLEY Memphis, Tennessee. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC VERY OLD PIECE OF WOOD WITH ORIGINAL GREEN PAINT FROM THE FAMOUS 50s RESIDENCE OF THE PRESLEY FAMILY FROM 1956-1958. 1034 AUDUBON DRIVE, MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE. In Brief: I went to Memphis this past summer. My first trip during Elvis Week. T was a whole lotta shakin' goin on in the form of re-construction at the residence during our tour *see pic*. Fans were not allowed past the fence. Out in the front of the residence on the sidewalk w meets the paved road, was a pile of cut tree branches, bush, and original wood paneling from the house (with nails, etc) *see pic* that was just awaiting the garbage truck. Thinking fast, I took some wood for souvenir. THIS WOOD IS VERY OLD AND WAS PART OF THE HOUSE WHEN ELVIS AND FAMILY LIVED T IF IT COULD ONLY TALK!!! Notice the original old-tyme 50's color paint. The nail holes. This is a fragile historic piece of wood. IMAGINE THE FACE OF YOUR LOVED ONE when you give them this for Christmas!! BE ONE OF THE FEW TO OWN A PIECE! The wood was cut into a 11 inches in length (from a much larger panel)with a handsaw in my hotel room so that it could fit in my luggage at the airport...... and was already 4 inches wide when I obtained it from in front of the home. read more
