You are bidding on my vintage rare milk glass Flaccus Bros Steer Head Fruit Jar with the original Flaccus Steer Head lid.........I know very little about fruit jars so hopefully my pictures will show you exactly what you are bidding on. You are getting the jar with the fancy embossed sides which is about 5 3/4 inches tall and is about 2 7/8 inches wide and the lid with the fancy embossed top that is about 2 1/2 inches wide and it says "Flaccus Bros - Trade Mark - Preservers - Wheeling W. VA.". The lid does have one 3/16 inch chip bottom edge (see pictures) and the jar does show roughness all along the top edge and hopefully my pictures will show you these areas. This jar is missing the metal closure ring that would screw on to the top of the jar keeping the lid and jar snug together...........
