Many Pickard, Limoges and other rare pieces that you will no doubt want to bid on and win. we have an extremely Rare French depicting Meiji period Japan "Japonaise" worked enamel raised jeweled gold tobacco leaf bird plate. I could write a story about this masterpiece. So much is going on it boggles the eyes. The plate itself is a mold and is Wavy and blown out molded in the shape of a giant tobacco leaf. All raised and hand painted with the finest details I think I have ever seen on a piece like this. Thick enamel raised jeweled gold with superb attention to detail. The cross hatched pattern is all done by hand and must have taken a long time to accomplish. Gold border with NO loss of gold at all with superb fine hand painted. A masterpiece
