Rare & significant German Weimar Bauhaus 21 piece glazed stoneware tea service. Crafted entirely by hand the form is avant garde while remaining functional & the hand painted designs are classic modernist abstraction. Set includes six cups & saucers, six desert plates, teapot w/lid & creamer. Due to the handmade nature no two pieces are painted & glazed alike. Each piece carries its own stamp or mark. Some are stamped somewhat legibly, Germany. Others have a painted intial or a stamp. Excellent condition. No Chips flakes or repairs. A tremendously stunning unique set of pottery.Teapot w/lid = 7" high - 2.5" diameter foot - 3.75 diameter opening.Creamer = 3" high.Cup = 2" high - 2.5" diameter mouth.Desert plate = 6.5" diameter.
