* ** ** * H EL P P LE AS E H EL P* ** ** * Have you ever had a dream?...a BIG one??...i mean THE big one!!...for 17 years i have had one-- but i never thought it would come true for me and my 12 year old daughter...but after all those YEARS --our dream is finally coming true...AND it all happened RIGHT on Ebay!!!...we've found the house of our dreams just w we wanted to be in NORTHERN NORTH DAKOTA...(and YES we bought it on Ebay!!)...and we are moving t the first of June!!!...the PERFECT house and land for my daughter to grow, our dogs and horse and cats to play, and me to live out my life...a dream come true thanks to the WONDERFUL ANGELS who made it possible for us to buy their home and to help us fulfill our dreams! But I say when all else fails-- Hope. * ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ok THIS IS ONE OF TWO MORE Green Hornet Glasses from this 1930s set that i VERY unexpectedly found while trying to finish packing up my house ..My ex husband and i were "over the top" glass collectors for about 10 years....the VERY VERY WEIRD THING IS that EACH ONE OF THESE TWO is a DIFFERENT GREEN....this glass is from the 1930s Radio Show (NOT the 1960s set)....THIS ONE IS A VERY DARK GREEN and has the DARK GREEN BAND around the top that READS "WSPD 7:30 p.m. WXYZ and Michigan Network Tues. and Thurs. 7:30 p.m."....they both measure 4-3/4" tall.... of COURSE NO chips or cracks BUT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY>>> BOTH of these glasses i would NOT call "mint"....t is DEFINITE Loss of Gloss to BOTH of them...now I wouldn't call them faded just NOT the Glossy Shine they had Originally....the DARK GREEN one has SLIGHTLY LESS loss of gloss than the LIGHT green one....we were VERY VERY Particular about our glass collection and we were ALWAYS hoping to find "perfect" copies of these but never did SO we displayed these and they DO look GREAT for display as you can see in the picture below BUT they are lacking the shine that the Lenore Case one i have up now has....i remember when we found these in about 1999 and displayed them in a glass case away from light and sun until our divorce in 2001...i REALLY thought HE had them so they are a surprise to find again! (they were for some ODD reason in a box with a bunch of silly Wizard of Id glasses that i am keeping....how did they get t?!?? wh... read more
