Pictured is the highly coveted HAR Cobra Cuff Bracelet. It's highly dimensional, quite a sight to behold and is in beautiful condition. Typical of Har jewelry, this piece is encrusted with a mad array of fantasy 'lava-like' purplish stones, marquise topaz and aurora borealis rhinestones. The bracelet clasps on the side and the clasp is in fine working order. The interior measurement is approximately 2 1/4 inches. Sea Green -- almost green blue -- enamel was applied in such a way that the tips of the gold scales show through the enameling. There is virtually no wear to this enamel and the reverse of the bracelet shows little wear to the naked eye. There are no missing or damaged stones. As you'll see in the pics below, the bracelet is clearly marked 'Har.' About the company: The origins of Har jewelry are a bit of a mystery in the collecting community. There is almost no information on the company, other than the name of the company, Har, was short for Hargo Jewelry Co. of NY, and that their typically wild jewelry was made for a very short period of time from the 1950s to the mid-1960s. This bracelet is a relatively scarce pieces and worthy of an honored place in any fine costume jewelry collection. Why not treat yourself!
