Rare Heywood Wakefield M 770 Wheat Sculptura Twin Beds Pair This auction is for a Pair of Heywood Wakefield Twin Beds from the in-demand and hard-to-find Sculptura line, circa 1952-1959 . Both beds are in the original Wheat finish and each headboard is marked with Heywood Wakefield logo and the 770 model identification. The footboards are marked with the 770 i.d. also. (The finish is the typical Wheat finish - looks deeper than in my photos. Taking the photos outdoors on a sunny day SEEMED like a good idea, but it washed out the light a bit.) T is a Headboard and Footboard for each bed, and t are two Birch Side Rails for each Bed, for a total of four (4) Side Rails in all (I only photographed one Side Rail for you to see in photo 4 - these suckers are heavy and a bit taxing to move.) Each Side Rail has two heavy gage steel fittings for a platform. I had to unscrew a single fitting on each to get these into my car, but I still have them and their screws to be included. Also, both the Headboards and Footboards have small rolling casters at their base. As you probably know with Heywood Wakefield pieces of this era, these beds are made of Solid Northern Yellow Birch .
