Offered for your consideration is a rare cast aluminum hanging 5 drop bulb art nouveau ceiling fixture that was made in the 1910`s and 20`s by ISCO. This fixture has been restored by a qualified lampsmith trained specifically in antique and vintage lighting. The photos will attest to the quality, nothing has been refurbished, t were no shortcuts taken, this is truly a complete, quality restoration and should not be confused with the "professionally restored" fixtures being offered by amateurs. The restoration process began with disassembly, it was stripped to bare metal by bead blasting, prepped and sealed with a corrosion inhibiting primer and then hand painted to a level detail seldom seen on vintage lighting using antique copper, gold flake, antique white, 2 shades of green, burnt orange and pearl. The original ornate ceiling canopy measures 5 1/2 inches across, the fixture is 17 inches across and the drop is 34 inches from flush with the ceiling canopy to the tip of the crystal, links can be added or removed to suit your needs. For your safety the original sockets and cloth wiring have been replaced with new UL approved brass sockets and wiring. The restoration was completed using all new hardware including the chain, plus a new mounting bracket and screws are included so it is ready for immediate installation by your electrician.
