I am offering for auction an opportunity to purchase a PAIR of Extremely Spectacular Cut Glass Champagne Tumblers . I believe that these amazing works of art were made by the Dorflinger Glass Company of White Mills, Pennsylvania. Dorflinger is famous for the table settings they made for the White House. THIS PAIR OF GLASSES ARE CUT IN THEIR STRAWBERRY DIAMOND PATTERN. The master cutting is superior. It is the best I have seen in a long time They were polished with a wood wheel. They date quite early - to about the 1890's. These are gems that really do not need any description. Photos speak for themselves. IT IS QUITE RARE TO FIND A CHAMPAGNE TUMBLER. Each one measures 3 7/8" tall and the mouth opens to 2 3/8" wide. These brilliant works of art are in excellent condition. The condition shows that they have obviously been cherished all these years. Blanks are crystal clear. You are only bidding on TWO champagne tumblers. The decanter is not for sale. These two tumblers are from a set of eight. The measurements of each tumbler differ slightly. This of course is becuase each one is hand blown. Don't let this price fool you. We have been collecting Cut Glass for 35+ years.
