This is a partslice of the rare Juvinas meteorite from France. This meteorite fell on June 15, 1821, at 3:00 pm in Libonnes, Ardeche, France. After a large fireball and explosions, a single stone weighing 91 kilograms fell. Juvinas is classified as a rare type of Achondrite, a Eucrite. Juvinas is a 186 year old historic European fall, so this meteorite is vital to any collection, even a micro collection. This piece is a fragment weighing 0.18 gram. This is a very nice micro specimen for any micro collection of witnessed falls or eucrites.
