Rare Koolmotor One Piece Gas Pump Globe Cities Service Oil Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma, circa 1926. Rare Cities Service Clover shaped gas globe. Displays as a 10 each side. Good Base too. I has seen these described as Milk Glass? This globe had two tiny B-B holes on the edge that were carefully filled in and cannot be seen unless you look inside the globe. The repaint covered the holes. No cracks anyw T are few of these known to exist and a good original would cost more than twice the reserve price. Reserve price is lower than the $3750.00 asking price when I bought this item last year from a very well know oil company collectable business who bought it and many many others from a private collection who had it for years and years I was told. I just do not feel comfortable displaying this item on my outside 1928 Wayne visable gas pump. So I purchased a lesser priced Cities Service Koolmotor with original lenses that displays well and lets me sleep at night:) I will use this money to upgrade my frame on my 1941 Ford Sedan Delivery to a new and complete TCI frame.
