Up for Auction is a very Rare Two Holed Marbles No. 5 Safety Axe Head. This version of the safety axe was only made for a short time because the handles kept on breaking due to the inadequate strength of the joint between the axe head and the wood handle. This version of the Safety axe was produced between 1901 and 1911. As you can see in the pictures I have posted the condition is not great but I believe it could be restored by the right person to be presentable. You are buying this Axe head AS SEEN it has rust it has pitting but how many oof these have you seen over the years. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
