This is a quarterly music magazine/newsletter sent by Aware Records to all of their label reps. Aware Records is the label who originally promoted bands and artists like John Mayer, Vertical Horizon, O.A.R. Guster, Five For Fighting, Edwin McCain, Matchbox Twenty before they became hugely popular. Aware Records is a record label primarily existent to "scout" unsigned acts, to promote their initial album releases and increase general overall exposure. Once the artist decides to, in many cases they will elect to "graduate" to Aware's parent company, Columbia Records, a division of Sony BMG. Through Aware, many bands and artists in the USA have become recognised and have launched into success as a result. This issue is from Summer 2002 and includes a full spread article with pictures and an interview on John Mayer, as well as various articles on O.A.R, Howie Day, and Glen Phillips.This is a must for any fan of John Mayer, as it is very rare since it was only sent out to their reps and not sold in stores. Item is in mint condition with no tears, water/grease stains or creases. I will also throw in a handful of John Mayer Trio coasters and stickers from their acclaimed album "Try!"
