Today we have a very lovely and old Noritake Morimura Nippon/Japan bowl that has a rare shaped 4 corners rim that tapers outward into a square round shape, that then flows into a completely round shape at the bottom, which is just so unique! The beautiful and meticulous hand painted landscape is serene and inviting! The Noritake mark on this bowl was used between 1918 until 1940 by Noritake and bears the Morimura mark that of the founding brothers (Ichizaemon & Yutaka Morimura). This pretty gold rimmed and two-handled bowl measures 7" x 8" wide across the top, with a round 4" wide base. At the tallest point, the bowl sits sweetly at 2". The bowl is in superb-condition with no chips or nicks, as well as the hand-painted landscape. The gold trim on the rim and handles has a little bit of wear, but is mostly intact! The Noritake Morimura mark on the underside of the bowl, has a little bit of crazing in the porcelain, but it is very minor! The bowl is made with high quality porcelain that has a soft gleam in the glaze! This will be a gorgeous piece to add to your Antique porcelain collection that is unique and fascinating!!!
