Nostoceras, Eubostrychoceras Heteromorph Ammonite S urely one of the weirdest evolutionary dead-end s! An extremely rare Heteromorph Ammonite, Eubostrychoceras otsukai (Nostoceras), from the Upper Cretaceous (Campanian - approx. 80,000,000 years ago) deposits of Madagascar. Superbly presented with natural slate plinth. Rarely available in this form, and previously unavailable (legally) from Madagascar. We are fortunate enough to have obtained a small number of these fascinating and desirable fossils. Prepared at The Fossil Farm, with no repair or restoration. The Ammonite measures 4" x 2.5" x 2.5" - a large and eminently displayable piece.
