being offered is a piece of native american indian art pottery, this is an old piece, would estimate pre 1940, unsigend, made to depict a moccasin show, rare tourist souvenir piece, has an old string attached to hole, probably for hanging, i speculate this was made by the isleta pueblo of new mexico, based on the style and look of the boot moccasin, worn by this pueblo, the glaze finish colors are reminiscent of zia pueblo, any input appreciated, piece some typical surface wear and minor abrsions characteristic of age related wear, mostly showing a roughness were the glaze color has worn, have taken many pics to show this, piece does not have any damage related to abuse or mishandling, approx. 2" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 1 1/2" tall, buyer to pay $5.50 SH, insurance extra.
