RARE Original WWI German Zeltbahn T ent S et, 1916 We offer you an original WWI army Zeltbahn tent set comprising the following : - >> 3 tent poles made of wood, with metal grummets. Long 38,5 cm/ 15 inches each - >> thick tent rope made of natural material, ending with a loop - >> 2 tent pegs made of wood (usually Zeltbahn T ent pegs were made of aluminum, resin or steel). They are long 27 cm / 10,6 inches. >> a canvass-made holder / pouch with leather straps and metal buckles. On the bag can be noticed the big ink stamp of the German manufacturer "B.A.X. 1916" . Above it is sewn a label made of thick material bearing the names of the owner, who was a soldier of the royal Bulgarian army. Bulgaria was Germany's ally in both WWI and WWII. The lettering says in Bulgarian: "Mlad6i voynik Kircho Petkov Ivanov 2ra rota" (this can be translated as "junior soldier Kircho Petkov Ivanov, drafted in second company"). Under the label is placed another ink stamp of the German manufacturer but it cannot be seen. The bag is in very good condition Every WWI collector will be pleased to have this set in their collection.
