Payment RARE PAIR FRENCH GOTHIC CIRCA 1830 BRONZE CANDELSTICKS Album Album Album is a rare pair of French Gothic candlesticks circa 1830 or so. The candlesticks measure 12 inches or 30.5 centimeters high. They are all bronze. The color or patination of the bronze is a very deep dark chocolate brown. The square bases each have as their main decoration a knight with sword and shield. This base holds a 4-columned standard. The standard is topped off by very fancy candle cups. The bronze also has an iron weight on the bottom for support. This iron weight is attached to the bronze work by a hand cut nut and stud. The condition of these candlesticks is excellent. The patination is all original. A rarely found form. T is no reserve. Please see my other auctions for more interesting antiques. Shipping anyw in the US via UPS Ground with full insurance is $18.00.
