Up for auction is a rare 1920 hand tinted(colored) panorama of Santa Monica Bay in very good condition . The frame measures 23 3/4" wide by 14" high, the actual photo is 15 1/4" wide by 6 1/2" high approx. It is front mounted on a mat (on top of it) T is a water stain on the mat on the upper lefthand side. (no damaged to the photo)which can be covered with a new mat without covering the photographer's hand written autograph( J.M. Jameson ?) and title(Santa Monica) Frame is original period 20's style with very slight wear .Photo is sharp ,nice colors, no fading(please excuse my posted pictures as I couldn't get a real good image with out reflections and wash out) The road leading to the pier could be Pacific Coast Hwy?, the fence on the beach side looks to be made of curly wood. In the distance you can see the Pier jetting out from the shore. No houses, buildings or structures can be seen, a very early photo. Buyer pays for actual mailing cost . I accept cashiers checks or postal m.o.s. Frame and photo weigh 6 pounds when boxed. Insurance is optional but buyer assumes responsibility for Postal damage or lost without it .
