You are bidding on this RARE , GENUINE and VINTAGE HAND PAINTED PARAGON FINE BONE CHINA QUEEN MARY PATTERN (8902) HANDLED SQUARE COBALT BLUE SERVING DISH / PLATTER - MADE IN ENGLAND. It is in VERY BEAUTIFUL - EXCELLENT CONDITION. It is quite simply Gorgeous ! It bears the "seal of approval" signature of A.D. Holland (then decorating manager for Paragon) on its front. Very special thanks to the Paragon International Collectors Club for providing to us valuable and very helpful information about this very beautiful Genuine and Vintage Paragon Queen Mary Pattern (8902) Service Piece. The famous Queen Mary Pattern was first designed for a service presented to Queen Mary when she visited the Paragon (named Star at the time) factory in 1913. In the late 1920's Paragon reissued this pattern (Queen Mary Pattern) for sale to the public as pattern number 8902, with the wording "Reproduction of Service, made for HER MAJESTY QUEEN MARY" as a part of its Backstamp on its backside (see full Backstamp picture below).Including its handles, it measures 10 inches long and measures 9 1/4 inches wide.
