Simply FABULOUS! We believe this could date as early as the late 1700s...but, will list it as 1800s piece of history! French look...but definitely Chippendale style (not marked however the family told us it was in fact Chippendale). QUALITY...hand tied springs (8 I believe) in excellent tight condition. The fabric covering is loose allowing us to check the springs conveniently. The chair has been reupholstered over the years...and could probably use a cleaning however it is in excellent condition and is a lovely very soft creme beige high quality. Matching armrest covers also included. The mahogany cabriole legs are exquisitely carved with much attention to detail. Measures : Perfect to use as a club chair in your parlor, den or library...living or family room and...would compliment your Victorian, French, Country, Classic Traditional Renaissance, even Euro decor!
